January 6th-
I got home from my errands, and the dog had turned into a complete psycho. This happens occasionally when he hasn't been walked or played with. So after our christmas tree was skillfully disposed of, it was time to take this devil dog for a walk.
He really enjoyed stopping at the bridge to check out all of cars rushing by on the Merritt Parkway.
He also really enjoyed stopping to look at his girlfriends, the horses down at the barn. I dont know how he saw them though because he is as blind as a bat. I guess it was the smell that made him perk up.
Apparently after a mile walk that wasn't enough attention. So we also played in the backyard until he was all tired out.
Every time I look at Leo with that twig in his mouth, it reminds me of Pongo in 101 Dalmatians when he wipes away the paw prints of the puppies.
Gotta love Pongo. That is one great dog, and one great dog name.

January 3rd-
Today, my puppy started the day being super sleepy, and sleeping on top of me because I was sitting in HIS spot of the couch. But later in the day he turned into the demon puppy and was so anxious and wanted me to play with him constantly. So I made the decision to take him to the woods behind our house. We live on a nature perserve, so I drove down to the entrance to the park and let me puppy out. We met up with my friend Ali, so I was able to catch up with her while getting some exercise. It was an interesting walk, to describe it mildly.

All of the paths along the trail were basically a sheet of ice, causing me to occasionally lose my footing. We came across one section where the water hadn't completely frozen, so we had some fun playing with the cracks in the ice.

I took a lot of photos of Leo, but he just looks so good in the snow-coated wood.
My crazy dog decided that it would be a fantastic idea to go swimming in the river. Little did he know that it was then going to turn into icicles on his fur. He required a hot shower when we got back home in order to remove all of the icicles and leave that then stuck to them.

Although it was a little cold outside, it was the perfect day to take Leo to the wood, even if I almost wiped out a couple times.

| Blue-eyed boy! |
My cute puppy had a lot of fun today, but most of the time he slept... and stared at me. This is after he bit my hand last night when I took him out to pee. Anyway I love him and I cant believe he is almost 2. Birthday boy on the 24th!!!

My dog is kind of awesome. He is adorable and constantly does really cute things without even trying. I normally take multiple photos of them a day, so I will publish them here to share.
